Comms and Policy Network Renew Special

Join us for a special combined comms and policy network so you can find out more, and get involved in Renew, our inquiry into housing-led regeneration for Northern growth. We want to work together to make sure members have the right support to deliver good quality homes and thriving places across the North.  

Housing-led regeneration is a priority for members and is an essential part of tackling the housing crisis in the North. In this session find out more about the work we have done so far on Renew, which is supported by Homes for the North and Muse. This includes launching a report ‘Unlocking 500,000 good quality homes in North’, with Housing Minster Matthew Pennycook speaking at our Westminster event, and a series of visits to regeneration sites across the North.  

Regeneration is rising up the political agenda. However, we need action to make sure housing-led regeneration is viable and achievable across the North, which has diverse needs and challenges.  

With the Autumn Budget looming join us to find out how we can work together to campaign to get the right support for housing-led regeneration across the North.  

For the last fifteen minutes of the session, we will switch the focus to the ‘More and Better Homes’ Call for Evidence. The Regulator of Social Housing is looking at changes to the way it regulates governance, financial viability, and value for money so that social landlords are better able to meet the challenges of the future. Find out more about this and contribute to the NHC response. This part of the session may not be relevant to everyone on the call, so it is optional as to whether you stay for this.
