Programme now available here.

The first annual Housing Partnerships Northern Conference, hosted by the NHC, is a must‑attend event for anyone shaping housing, place and devolution across the North. This is the first time housing partnerships, combined authorities and key local stakeholders will come together at this scale to share learning, influence policy and set the direction for the future.

Across the North, housing partnerships are emerging as one of devolution’s most powerful success stories. This conference will explore how collective leadership across housing, local government and combined authorities can drive growth, transform places and unlock the North’s full potential. For organisations serious about influence, collaboration and impact, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

On the day, delegates will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn directly from peers and share best practice across housing partnerships
  • Strengthen collective voice and influence with local, regional and national decision‑makers
  • Align activity with mayoral and combined authority priorities
  • Raise the profile and impact of housing partnerships across the North
  • Support devolution and place‑based approaches to delivery

Through keynote panels and interactive workshops, the programme will explore:

  • Making the most of devolution, including integrated settlements and new powers
  • The evolving role of local authorities as strategic place‑shapers and social landlords
  • New supply, regeneration and collaborative delivery models
  • Improving quality, sustainability and standards through partnership working
  • Housing, health and place, and improving outcomes for communities
  • Skills, opportunity and prosperity, and supporting local people
  • Tackling homelessness through prevention and place‑based approaches
  • Community resilience and responding to emerging challenges
  • Influencing policy and decision‑making through strong housing partnerships

The conference will bring together senior leaders and practitioners from housing, local government, health, skills, regeneration and net zero. If you want to be part of the conversations shaping housing and devolution across the North, this event is not to be missed.

Members of Northern Housing Partnerships are eligible for member rate tickets, even if they are not members of the NHC.
